Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. Agreement
By using wisemortgages.ca (the “Website”), you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or submit the form.
2. General information only
Content explains general concepts and questions commonly associated with Canadian mortgages. It is not tailored to your finances, property, objectives or eligibility and may not reflect every current rule, lender policy, product feature, cost or exception.
WiseMortgages does not assess suitability or eligibility, recommend lenders or products, quote rates, negotiate terms, take applications, arrange financing, collect financial documents or handle funds.
3. Calculator
The calculator provides an illustrative principal-and-interest estimate based solely on the numbers entered. It is not a quote or qualification result and excludes costs such as mortgage-insurance premiums, taxes, condo fees, utilities and closing expenses. Actual payments and qualification depend on lender terms and approval.
4. Initial information request
Submitting the contact form permits WiseMortgages to follow up about your request. It is not a mortgage application, credit inquiry, pre-approval, approval, rate hold, offer or commitment, and it does not authorize WiseMortgages to share your contact information with a mortgage professional.
5. Optional later referral
WiseMortgages may receive a fee or other compensation for a referral. Before a referral, WiseMortgages will identify the proposed licensed recipient, disclose the nature of the relationship and possible compensation, and request separate written consent to share specified contact information. The licensed recipient will provide mortgage services independently and will be responsible for its own advice, disclosures, applications and privacy practices.
6. Your responsibilities
Use the Website for lawful purposes, provide accurate contact information, and do not submit sensitive financial or application information. Seek advice from an appropriately licensed professional before making a mortgage decision.
7. Availability, links and liability
We aim to keep the Website useful and available but do not promise that content is complete, current or error-free, or that operation will be uninterrupted. Third-party sites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. To the extent permitted by law, WiseMortgages is not responsible for decisions or services of a referred professional, brokerage, lender or other third party. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law. Questions may be sent to hello@wisemortgages.ca.
